AWANA 2019-2020 Registration

Wednesdays Beginning September 18th | AWANA is a children’s program for Grades K-6 teaching the truths of God and His Word anchored in Scripture memory. If you are like most us, you are wondering what AWANA stands for. Its name comes from 2 Timothy 2:15.
"Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth." (ESV) Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed!

Each week we have a great time playing some pretty crazy games, spending large group time learning God’s truths, and small group time memorizing and digging into scripture. There is an Annual Registration Fee is $25 per child PLUS $10 Uniform Fee for new clubbers or returning clubbers in need of new uniforms. Registration fee includes one handbook, prizes, and awards throughout the year.

Our program runs from September through May (30 weeks). Our 2019-2020 AWANA program begins Wednesday, September 18th from 6:30 to 8:00 PM. If it's after September, don't worry. Children can join AWANA at any point in the year!
Use this form to register your child(ren) Grades K-6 for AWANA at Bethel Evangelical Free Church of Staten Island. We provide two free visits to our guests. In these two free visits, our guests can complete either Flight 3:16 (Sparks) or Start Zone (T&T) to determine if they would like to join AWANA. If your child would like to continue in the program, there is an Annual Registration Fee of  $25 per child PLUS $10 Uniform Fee for new clubbers or returning clubbers in need of new uniforms. Registration fee includes one handbook, prizes, and awards throughout the year.

Please note it will take one business day for your registration to be processed. Should you register on a Wednesday, please bring your registration confirmation email with you to AWANA to avoid paper registration.

After completing Flight 3:16 for Sparks (Grades K-2) or Start Zone for T&T (Grades 3-6), children joining the AWANA program will receive a uniform. Sparks (Grades K-2 ) uniform is a vest and the  T&T (Grade 3-6) uniform is a jersey. When ordering, size up as it is best if clubbers can use their uniforms multiple years. Returning clubbers need only purchase a uniform if they are advancing to T&T or have outgrown their uniform.

Safety Release:
The undersigned parent or guardian assumes all risk, danger and injury incidental to their child’s participation in events at and around the premises of Bethel Evangelical Free Church located at 4550 Amboy Road, Staten Island, NY 10312, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event(s), including but not limited to dangers associated with games, rides, and campfire activities and agrees that no persons or entities including Bethel Evangelical Free Church, its pastors, elders, deacons, trustees or members are liable for any injuries including death, resulting from such causes and releases and holds harmless all such persons and entities.
Photo Release:
I hereby grant permission to Bethel Evangelical Free Church to use my and my family’s photograph(s) on its web site, Facebook page, or in other official church printed publications without further consideration.

I acknowledge the church has the right to crop or treat the photograph(s) at its discretion.

I also acknowledge that the church may choose not to use my photograph(s) at this time, but may do so at its own discretion at a later date.

I also understand that once my image is posted on the church’s website, the image can be downloaded by any computer user, anywhere in the world.

Therefore, I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the church, its trustees, pastor(s), deacons, its members and designees from any claims arising out of the use of my photograph(s).
